In a press release, Clay County Medical Center announced they are welcoming Carissa Horton, MPAS, PA-C to the Specialty Clinic team. Carissa specializes in ear, nose, and throat conditions.
Carissa practices at Inspire ENT and Pulmonology in Manhattan, KS and will see patients in Clay Center on the first and third Fridays of each month.
Carissa completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University in 2004 and her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from K-State in 2002. She is from Marysville, Kansas and has been living in Junction City with her family for the past sixteen years.
She first became interested in the medical field after working in a nursing home in high school. She decided to pursue her EMT license at MATC during her time at K-State. She loves helping people and looks forward to working at Clay County Medical Center.
