USD 224 Clifton-Clyde’s School Age Program Gets a Funding Boost

By Ryan Duey

USD 224 Clifton-Clyde was recently awarded a grant of $5000 from the Community Foundation for Cloud County. The grant, funded through the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, was given to the School Age Program to help with Summer Program costs.

Michael Cyr, School Age Program Director, says these grant funds will be put back into the community as well.

Clifton-Clyde’s School Age Program will run through the summer from May 20th until August 2nd. The Program, for ages 4 through 12, will keep students engaged with educational activities, field trips, outside play, and other fun activities throughout the summer.

Limited spots are available, so it is best not to wait until the end of the School Year to sign up your student. Information on the School Age Program along with the initial registration form can be found on USD 224’s Facebook Page.
