The Washington Headliners 4-H club will be decorating sugar cookies with the senior residents of the Clay Center Presbyterian Manor on April 27.
Anna Knepper, one of the leaders of the Washington Headliners, said the group is currently focusing on community service projects and citizenship.
Knepper said the 4-Hers regularly interact with the Clay Center Presbyterian Manor for projects like this, and average 30 program members for each visit. Knepper said the Manor’s residents love to interact with younger generations and the Washington Headliners always bring a smile to their faces.
