The City of Concordia will soon be updating their Comprehensive Plan. The City Commissioner has hired Professional Engineering Consults, PA (PEC) to help them with the update. PEC has helped communities all over Kansas with a variety of developmental projects. They have also assisted many communities with updating Comprehensive Plans.

The current Comprehensive Plan that Concordia has is from 2011. The community has received many updates and developments since then. This plan will have those updates, as well as an action plan with developmental goals for the future of Concordia.

Kansas does not require cities to adopt Comprehensive Plans, but they are recognized in law because they help cities reach their goals and ensure a safe and efficient community for everyone.
