By Payton Tholstrup

Cloud County Community College has announced they will be offering two new associate degree pathways beginning in Fall 2024.

The first is an associate degree in PK-6 Elementary Education Pathway. This is a transfer degree for students who are interested in pursuing early childhood education or elementary education. Once this degree is completed at Cloud, students are guaranteed 60 credit hours that will transfer to a bachelor’s degree program in Elementary Education at any Kansas Board of Regent institution.

The second degree is an associate in digital Entrepreneurship. This degree focuses on students who are self-starters and creative. The degree will include courses in Art and Design, Business, and Communications. Students will have a wide range of career options to choose from, such as social media management, marketing, advertising, YouTube, and more.

“Cloud is committed to continually offering new and innovative programs,” Dr. Brandon Galm, Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs, said.

Enrollment for the fall 2024 semester is now open.
