Cloud County Community College to Host First Ever Professionals Visit Day

By Payton Tholstrup

Cloud County Community College has invited high school students interested in the health professional field to attend their first ever Health Professionals Visit Day on Thursday, March 7th. The visit was originally scheduled for January but was moved to March due to the weather.

The day begins at 9:15 a.m. with a check in at the Welcome Center on campus. Visitors will be able to participate in a variety of sessions where they can learn about various health care professions including Nursing, Athletic Training, the EMT program, and the Pharmacy Technician certification program.

A tour of the new Technical Education and Innovation Center will also be part of the visit. While Cloud has always had visit days on campus, the goal is to have specific days that are targeted to career fields students are interested in, like healthcare.

If you or someone else is interested in this Visit Day and would like to attend, email Brandt Hutchinson at brandt.hutchinson@cloud.edu. You can also call 1-800-729-51091, ext. 340. The deadline to register is Thursday, February 29th.
