The Flint Hill Discovery Center (FHDC) in Manhattan will be hosting various Events leading up to the day of the Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8th.
The Events kick off this Thursday, March 14th with a special presentation. Sally Dreher, Curator of Education for the Discovery Center says they have a lot planned between now and April 8th.
Other events include a Solar Viewer Workshop on Saturday, March 30th at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. where the K-State Physics Department will help attendees build a Solar Viewer. Professor Sorensen will host another presentation on Wednesday, April 3rd from 6:00 to 7:00 pm to help attendees prepare for the Eclipse. And on April 8th the FHDC will open at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate the Solar Eclipse.
