M. Lucille Wohler, 95 died April 23, 2024, in Clay Center, KS.  She was born on August 27, 1928, near Oak Hill, the daughter of John Jacob and Lillie Viola (Affolter) Largent.  Lucille was born on a farm near Oak Hill.  She attended Trudell and Manning country schools before moving with her parents to a farm near Longford where Lucille completed 8th grade at Mulberry county school.  Her father preceded her in death in 1945 and she moved to Clay Center with her mother.  Lucille was a graduate of the class of 1946 from Clay Cener High School.  She worked at C. & W. Rural Electric Assn. before marrying Myron “Bud” Wohler on June 12, 1949.  They made their home on a farm southwest of Clay Center until October 11, 2022.  Bud preceded her in death on October 23, 2022.  Lucille enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, reading, working on puzzles, flower gardening and especially loved babysitting.  She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Douglas Wohler.

7 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren
