The Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) announced that seven agencies will receive $4.7 million in grant funding to help provide more Therapeutic Family Foster Homes (TFFH) in Kansas.
Cornerstones of Care, covering Marshall County, was awarded up to $512,766 to help support fosters and their families through therapeutic resources. These funds will support placement providers with additional virtual resources, reimbursement rates, incentive payments, access to family therapy, and additional in-home support. Additionally, this program will support safety plans or respite placement options.
The new program will help support foster children by increasing the capacity of TFFH, engaging in prevention activities to support them in their homes and communities rather than out-of-home care.
